How to do a French manicure at home

1. Base coat

Prep the nail and apply a thin layer of base.

2. Nude tone over the whole nail

Cover the nail with the nude or pink tone. Let it dry.

3. The white tip

With the white pen, draw a line following the free edge. The pen format gives great control to trace the French smile line without shaking. If you go over, fix it with a cotton swab and a little remover.

4. Seal

Top coat over the whole nail to unify and add shine.

Variations

Try the coloured French by swapping the white for a bright tone, or a thinner-line version for a minimalist look.
