How to use the pen nail polish correctly?

To achieve a beautiful, even and long-lasting manicure, follow these steps:

1. Prepare your nails
Clean and completely dry your nails. If you wish, apply a Base Coat and let it dry.

2. Shake the pen
Shake it for a few seconds with the cap closed before each use.

3. Activate the tip
Hold the pen with the tip facing down for a few moments. If it's the first use, gently press the tip several times until the polish starts to come out.

4. Apply the polish
Apply 2 or 3 thin coats, letting each coat dry for about 20 seconds.

5. Finish with a Top Coat
To protect the color, add extra shine and extend the life of your manicure, apply a layer of Top Coat.

Recommendations:

  • Always close the cap tightly after each use.
  • Store the pen in a cool, dry place.
  • Avoid applying coats that are too thick.
  • For the best possible result, we strongly recommend using our Base Coat and Top Coat. Although they aren't mandatory, they improve the polish's adhesion, provide a more professional finish and help extend the manicure's life up to 7-10 days. Without them, it usually lasts 2-3 days.

What does this offer include?

This offer includes 5 Velynails™ pen nail polishes to create a precise, fast and hassle-free manicure.

For longer wear and an even more professional finish, we recommend using our Base Coat and Top Coat, available separately.

Do I need to use a UV lamp?

No. Our polishes air-dry and don't need any kind of UV or LED lamp.

Are the Base Coat and Top Coat mandatory?

No. They aren't mandatory, but they are highly recommended.

The Base Coat improves the polish's adhesion and the Top Coat protects the color, adds shine and helps extend the manicure's life.

How long does the manicure last?

The duration depends on daily use and nail care.

  • 2 to 3 days using only the polish.
  • Up to 7-10 days using our Base Coat and Top Coat.

How do you remove the polish?

You can easily remove it with a classic nail polish remover.

We also offer our Velynails™ Magic Remover, which is applied like a polish. Its formula helps dissolve the color quickly and makes removal easier without intense rubbing.

Is the polish suitable for natural and false nails?

Yes. It can be used on both natural and false nails.

Is the formula vegan?

Yes. Our formula is vegan, fast-drying and made without several ingredients traditionally used in some conventional polishes.

Can a beginner use it?

Yes. The pen format offers more control during application, making it easier to achieve a clean result even without experience.

How many coats should I apply?

We recommend applying 2 or 3 thin coats to achieve an intense, even color.

How to store the polish?

Store it in a cool, dry place, protected from heat and direct light. Always close the cap tightly after each use.
